♫ I get by with a little help from my friends...

Today Carla and I hopped in the car and went to say 'Hi' to three special friends. It took a few hours, but we were able to greet each one in a special way. Lots of fun.

What is special about these three friends is that I have never met them. Not even today.

They live in England. The four of us support each other through our cancer blogs. That is where I met them, in cyber space.

Turns out there are many more bloggers out there with their cancer stories. It is a tremendous support system beyond our own family and friends.

So today, I just wanted to send a greeting to my far away cancer friends and let you know that we are thinking of you. ("We" being me and Carla, of course.)

    Oh Steve, do I get one too? Like the Yellow VW ... does it have a black sunroof like our old one? Maybe this is the reincarnated version since our brother David smooshed the other one. (smiles) Or, maybe you waving those flags at me is because you are sending me to our native land of England to chum about. Or, maybe that there Harley is mine since Dad won't give me one of his. .... One just never knows.

    As for your cyber buddies, THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU FOR BEFRIENDING MY SWEET (Wait! That's way too girlie sounding. I mean MY SUPER FABULOUS) LITTLE BROTHER! You mean a great deal to him. I can see how you are all helping each other and that means a great deal to me. I pray that the Lord will send His Angels to you to ease your burdens and to take away your worries.

    Without being silly - God lives and loves us. He knows us individually and it is proved to me more and more each day. Seeing the support of friends across the world that were once inaccessible but now are a close as the touch of a computer button is just one more sign that God hears even our smallest prayers.

    On a serious note, you have a fabulous little brother and he has a fantastic big sister - seems like a win win situation to me :-)

    It's been fun reading your exchanges with Steve. He is my favoritest little brother... and also, my onlyest little brother. We have a bigger brother who we love too!
